Overview

The Ballad of the Bastard and the Tinkerer is a quickstart adventure for Wild Duelist; a medieval action game of animfolk warriors. The quickstart concerns two characters who've agreed to duel and will travel to the location of their duel together, protecting eachother along the way. It runs through a selection of Battle Scenes and other possible encounters while introducing the basic rules of Wild Duelist.

It is designed for three players, with one player assuming the role of the Narrator; who will narrate the setting and play any supporting characters, including enemies in Battle Scenes. The other players will control the main characters; The Feral Dove Isolda and Avery the Tinkerer.

Using this Quickstart

This adventure is designed to introduce the rules and world of Wild Duelist at a gradual rate. It doesn't include rules for character creation and some other mechanics from the core game but is fully playable unto itself. You obviously might find yourself remixing or tearing apart elements of the quickstart to fill your personal aims.
